AI math solver Chrome extension
QuizPilot is a math solver extension for Chrome that works on the practice page you already have open. One click reads every math question on the page, including multiple choice, fill-in and questions with graphs or figures, and suggests an answer with a confidence score. No copying, no screenshots to upload, no switching tabs.
How it works
- Open a math practice set, homework page or self-test in Chrome.
- Click the QuizPilot button, use the right-click menu or press the shortcut. The extension reads the page only when you ask it to.
- Each question gets a suggested answer and a confidence score. Let QuizPilot tick or fill in the answers, or have it only mark them so you answer yourself. It never submits for you, and undo is one click.
What math questions it handles
- Multiple choice and true/false: algebra, geometry, statistics and calculus questions with listed options.
- Fill-in and short answer: a number, an expression or a short written answer typed into the box.
- Graphs, figures and rendered equations: when a question is an image or a canvas, or the page text is incomplete, a screenshot goes to a multimodal model. You can also select an area to solve a single problem.
- Any site: QuizPilot is not tied to particular websites. It works out questions, options and answer boxes from the page structure, and can learn an unusual layout once and reuse it.
Fast or Accurate for math
Paid mode has two modes, and you can switch any time in the extension popup.
- Fast: answers a page in a few seconds and counts each question as 1. Good for quick multiple-choice drills.
- Accurate: an advanced AI model thinks through every question before it answers. Slower, and each question counts as 10, but better on multi-step algebra, calculus and word problems. On our own set of 30 multi-step reasoning questions, Fast got 26–27 right and Accurate all 30.
Every answer shows its confidence, so you can see which ones to work through again. Questions without an answer are free in both modes.
What it is not
QuizPilot suggests answers; it does not write out worked, step-by-step solutions. If you want to see every step of a derivation, a dedicated step-by-step solver such as Microsoft Math Solver or Mathway is the better fit. QuizPilot is for checking your work across a whole page of practice questions quickly.
Math solver extension vs other math tools
| Tool type | Where it works | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| QuizPilot (Chrome extension) | The practice page itself, every question at once | Answers with confidence, filled in or marked |
| Screenshot math extensions | One cropped problem at a time | Usually a worked solution in a side panel |
| Photo math apps | Phone camera, paper worksheets | Step-by-step solutions |
| Math solver websites | A separate tab where you type the problem | Step-by-step solutions and graphs |
