# QuizPilot > QuizPilot is a Chrome extension: an AI study helper for practice questions on the web. On a practice, homework or self-test page it reads the questions and suggests answers with a confidence score, then ticks or fills them in (undoable, never submits) or only marks them on the page. Free with your own model API key; or pay per answered question. Chinese name: QuizPilot(网页练习题的 AI 学习助手). Key facts: - Question types: multiple choice, multiple answer, true/false, fill-in, short answer, and questions with pictures (a screenshot goes to a multimodal model when the page text is incomplete or the question is an image). - Works on most online practice, question bank and quiz pages without site-specific code; it can learn an unusual page layout once from a screenshot. - Modes: "Solve this page" (fills in answers, one-click undo), "Assist" (only marks the suggested answer), "Continuous" (one-question-per-page quizzes: answers and moves on until stopped, stops at the last question), select an area, right-click menu, keyboard shortcuts (Alt+Shift+1–4; Control+Shift on Mac). - Free mode: the user's own model API key (Jev via OpenRouter or TypeSafe, or any OpenAI-compatible service, local models included). The key stays in the browser; questions go straight to that provider, never through QuizPilot's servers. - Paid mode: sign in with email or Google; pay per answered question, bought in packs of questions: $3 (450 questions), $5 (1,000), $10 (4,000), $20 (11,000); 200 free questions for new accounts; nothing charged for questions without an answer; no expiry. Two answer modes, switchable in the popup. Fast (each question counts as 1): multiple-choice and true/false questions go to TypeSafe's Jev decision model, fill-in, short answer and picture questions to a multimodal model, optional low-confidence review. Accurate (each question counts as 10): every question goes to an advanced AI model; a little slower, more accurate on hard questions (in the developer's test of 30 multi-step questions, Fast got 26–27 right and Accurate all 30; see the Jev benchmark below). - Privacy: the page is read only when the user clicks the button, uses the right-click menu or presses the shortcut. Paid mode does not keep questions, screenshots or answers. - Requirements: desktop Google Chrome 116 or later (Windows, macOS, Linux). Install from the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/quizpilot/gloldlbaimjdhcpgpcdcihcekfclgeha - Open source: the extension and model adapters are on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0; the Paid mode backend is not. - Responsible use: a study aid for practice, homework and self-tests where such tools are allowed; not for exams or assessments that prohibit it. - Contact: support@quizpilot.link ## Guides for agents (Markdown) - [Overview](https://quizpilot.link/index.md): what QuizPilot does, modes, accuracy, privacy, install - [Pricing](https://quizpilot.link/pricing.md): Free mode, Paid mode, Fast vs Accurate, question packs - [FAQ](https://quizpilot.link/faq.md): the questions answered on the home page - [How we use Jev](https://quizpilot.link/blog/jev.md): how quiz questions map onto Jev, with a 90-question benchmark - [中文介绍](https://quizpilot.link/zh.md): Chinese overview and FAQ - [Everything in one file](https://quizpilot.link/llms-full.txt) ## Pages - [Home (Chinese)](https://quizpilot.link/): features, how it works, pricing, FAQ - [Home (English)](https://quizpilot.link/en/): the same in English - [Home (Japanese)](https://quizpilot.link/ja/) and [Home (Korean)](https://quizpilot.link/ko/) - [How we use Jev to answer quiz questions](https://quizpilot.link/en/blog/jev/): engineering post with benchmarks - [Best AI study tools in 2026](https://quizpilot.link/en/best-ai-study-tools/): comparison guide (QuizPilot is our own product) - [Privacy Policy](https://quizpilot.link/en/privacy) ([中文](https://quizpilot.link/privacy)) - [Terms of Service](https://quizpilot.link/en/terms) ([中文](https://quizpilot.link/terms)) ## Install - [QuizPilot on the Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/quizpilot/gloldlbaimjdhcpgpcdcihcekfclgeha) ## Source - [Extension source on GitHub](https://github.com/jelly-ham/quizpilot-extension): AGPL-3.0 - [Jev by TypeSafe](https://typesafe.ai): the decision model used for choice questions
