Terms of Service

1. The service

QuizPilot is a study aid. It reads practice questions on web pages, suggests answers with a confidence score, and can fill them into the page when you ask it to. Answers are generated by AI models, can be wrong, and are for reference only.

2. Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for practice, homework, self-tests and similar settings where such tools are allowed.
• You are responsible for following the rules of your school, exam body, employer and the websites you use. You must not use the Service in exams, assessments, certifications or contests that prohibit assistance tools.
• Do not use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights, and do not attack, abuse or reverse-engineer its API.
• We may suspend or end the Service for accounts that break these rules.

3. Accounts

Credits mode requires signing in with an email address or a Google account. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for credits used through it.

4. Credits, top-ups and refunds

• Credits are bought by topping up and pay for answering in Credits mode. Each request is charged at the actual cost of the model calls it makes. Nothing is charged when no question gets answered.
• Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred. Credits do not expire.
• Refunds: within 14 days of a top-up, contact support@quizpilot.link for a full refund if none of its credits were used, or a refund in proportion to the unused credits if some were. Bonus credits are not refundable. Refunded credits are removed from your account.
• If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer (a chargeback), the matching credits are removed and the account is frozen until the dispute is resolved. An account is also frozen if a refund or chargeback leaves its balance negative.

5. Free mode (your own key)

In Free mode you deal directly with the model provider you choose; that provider is responsible for its charges and how it handles your data.

6. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". We make no promise that AI-generated answers are accurate or fit for any purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost marks, disciplinary action or other losses from relying on its output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

7. Changes and termination

We may change the Service, its prices and these terms, with advance notice of material changes. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. If the Service shuts down, unused paid credits are refunded pro rata.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
